The man across from me is smiling He has my father’s patient way of waiting He says they’ll be asking where you were I say I’ve been right here, I’ve been right here

Last BART, last BART, last one out The doors say “stand clear” and I always do Last BART, last BART, take me around Past the house with the porch light on Don’t let me off, don’t let me off

Final Chorus
Last BART, last BART, last one out The doors say “stand clear” and I always do Last BART, last BART, take me around Past the house with the porch light on Don’t let me off Don’t let me off It’s the only place that moves
